- Custom orders must be approved before production begins.

What will my tufting order cost?
- The cost of your piece depends on size, project details, labor, materials needed, and more.
- Prices can range from $100 to $5,000 USD.
- All tufted pieces are custom, handcrafted, and one-of-a-kind.
- Custom designs with more detail and a larger canvas will vary the final price — estimates are available.
- Shipping and delivery require additional payment.
- All sales are final — no refunds, exchanges, or returns.
How long does production take?
- Every piece is tufted loop by loop, then carved, trimmed, shaped, backed, and finished with care. That process takes time and cannot be rushed without sacrificing quality.
- Small pieces (under 18"): typically 1–2 weeks after deposit and design approval.
- Medium pieces (18–30"): typically 2–4 weeks depending on detail and color count.
- Large or highly detailed pieces (30"+ or complex imagery): 4–8 weeks or more.
- Production timelines also depend on current order volume — you will be given an estimated timeline at the time of order approval.
- Production does not begin until your 50% deposit is received and your design has been approved.
- Rush orders are not guaranteed and may be subject to an additional fee based on availability.
A Note on Timelines
These are estimates, not guarantees. Tufting is a hands-on craft and each piece receives full attention from start to finish. You may request an update on your order via email but understand, there is a process — quality always comes first.
How do I pay?
- Shop purchases are paid securely through Stripe — accepted methods include card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, and PayPal.
- Custom order deposits and final payments are processed via a secure Stripe payment link — each custom order receives its own unique link sent directly to you by email.

What is a vectored image?
- Vector graphics are visual images created from geometric shapes — points, lines, curves, and polygons — defined on a flat plane.
- Common vectored image file formats include GIF, JPEG, and PNG.
- If you're unsure whether your image qualifies, just send it over and we'll let you know!

How long does shipping take?
- Standard shipping via USPS Priority Mail. Shipping costs vary per piece and are shown on each product page.

Lost or Damaged Packages
Once your order has been shipped, Tuft’D is not responsible for delays, damage, or loss caused by the postal carrier. If a package is lost in transit, a claim will be filed with the carrier. Once the claim is approved, your custom piece will be remade at no additional cost. Please note all sales are final and no refunds are offered for lost or delayed packages, as each piece is made to order. If the tracking shows Delivered, Tuft’D is not responsible for packages that are stolen, misdelivered, or claimed as missing. Please contact your local postal service or delivery carrier for assistance with locating delivered packages.
International Shipping Policy
International orders are shipped with tracking and insured for the full value of the artwork. This may result in a higher shipping cost. Delivery times vary by country and may be delayed by customs — these delays are outside of my control. International customers are responsible for all customs, duties, VAT, and import fees. Because each piece is custom-made, all international sales are final. If a package is lost in transit, a claim will be filed with the carrier. Once the claim is approved, your custom piece will be remade at no additional cost. Please note all sales are final and no refunds are offered for any lost, damaged, or delayed packages, as each piece is made to order. If the tracking shows Delivered, Tuft’D is not responsible for packages that are stolen, misdelivered, or claimed as missing. Please contact your local postal service or delivery carrier for assistance with locating delivered packages.
Do you offer local delivery in Detroit?
- Yes! Local delivery is a flat $10 rate available in the Metro Detroit area — Wayne, Oakland, and Macomb counties only. We'll coordinate a delivery time with you via email after your order is placed.
- Pickup is also available for free in the Metro Detroit area. We'll coordinate a safe, convenient meeting location via email — no home address required.
How do I clean my tufted piece?
- For stains: use a paper towel or undyed cloth to absorb wet stains. Apply lukewarm water with an undyed cloth or sponge to dampen the stain, soak up the water with a dry cloth, and repeat until the stain fades.
- Do not use a carpet cleaner and avoid drenching the piece with water — this can loosen the glue binding that holds the tufting fibers in place.
- To vacuum: use a suction-only vacuum to remove dirt and debris. Do not use beater bar or rotary brush attachments — these can twist, rip, and break the tufted fibers. Lint rollers may be used to remove light debris.
- Tufted pieces are created as display art. The fibers are delicate — these pieces are not meant for high-traffic areas!
What if I want to return or exchange my tufted piece?
- Because every piece is custom-made and one-of-a-kind, all sales are final — no refunds, returns, or exchanges are offered.
- We take great pride in the quality of every piece and work closely with each customer during the design approval process to ensure your vision is captured before production begins.
- If your piece arrives damaged due to shipping only, please contact us at info@tuftd313.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage. We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue.
